Animals Wearing Backpacks Like The Little Hard Workers They Are

We all have places to be, and that’s also true for our furry friends. They’ve got to get to the hippest dog park to catch up on all the hot gossip in town, get their fur blown out at the salon, and even head to school to cram a quick study session in before the obedience class exam.

Here are some animals wearing backpacks that will have you wondering where they’re going and why their lives are busier than ours. You’ll be questioning what’s in their bags, but mostly, you’ll be gushing at how cute they are.

We all need a prepared friend at the beach who’s willing to pack and drag everything we could possibly need down to the shore. They’re fully equipped with every kind of snack and beverage you could ever want because we refuse to spend money at the beach shack. If you forgot your sunscreen don’t worry, this cat has got your back.

Look at how wise and worldly this cat looks. They’re keeping an eye out for any seagull that’s flying our way and are ready to pull an umbrella out of their tiny backpack to defend our beach territory.

We all try and leave the house with the kind of bag that we think will fit our needs and hold our things. If we’re feeling productive and active we grab a backpack full of work and athletic wear. But if we’re feeling cute and a little quirky we grab a ladybug bag like this sweet Frenchie did.

Just look at that face –– this dog is feeling its adorable look and wants you to know. In the little ladybug backpack is a whole lot of confidence.

If you’re a parent, you know how hard it is to find baby carrying accessories that let you be as active as possible while still letting the baby be comfortable. That giant stroller just isn’t maneuverable for your busy life. This mama-dog knows what it’s like trying to fit a huge stroller on public transportation, so she decided to go paws-free.

Or mouth-free in this case since dogs carry their puppies with their mouths. Look at how curious her little puppy is. Don’t worry little guy, you’re safe as long as you keep both paws inside of the vehicle.

Going to the movies can get expensive. It’s over $10 for the ticket and usually over $20 if you want a good popcorn and drink combo. So we all sneak in a few snacks. Just a few Snickers, Maltesers, a bottle of Coke, a bag of chips, and a family size Smartfood. These penguins know how to sneak just a couple things in too.

These tiny little backpacks carry everything these Antarctic animals need to watch Happy Feet in comfort. No usher is going to stop them and check their bags either because these dapper fellows are wearing tuxedos.

Even Piglets Have Stuff They Need

Quick, what are some of your backpack essentials? Maybe it’s a pencil case, extra socks, chapstick, wallet, keys, and a snack for later. This piglet knows what it’s like to carry the essentials, that’s why it’s all stocked and ready with its pig-pack.

This sweet little oink was spotted on its way to a “Stop Eating Bacon” rally. Inside of its bag is a bunch of flyers telling you why you shouldn’t eat it for breakfast. You go little freedom fighter.

Ready For Bed? Not Without The Packing Advice Of A Frenchie You’re Not

Turns out cute animals are a lot like toddlers who need to be surrounded by their favorite toys before hopping into bed. We all remember being the kid who was dragging their favorite doll, stuffed animal, favorite bedtime story, snack, and blanket with them into bed and patiently waiting for mom to read us a bedtime story.

This little frenchie heard that it was time to say goodnight so it quickly donned its onesie and packed everything it needed for a peaceful night into its bag. That means cookies, dog toys, and weird-smelling grass to roll in.

Even Quacks Gotta Pack

It’s not every day that a duck gets admitted to a good university, but hey, we’ve all met quacks at school. This cutie is ready to get their learn on.

This photo is the perfect embodiment of how students feel on the first day compared to the last day of school. We’re all bright-eyed and bushy beaked like the duck on the right when we first see all the new stuff, but when we really get into the curriculum and fail a couple of geography quizzes we all just want to take a nap like the duck on the left.

When you pick up backpackers on the side of the road you expect them to be a little tired and world-weary. What you don’t expect is that they’re cute, fluffy, and 60 pounds of adorable doggie joy. This little backpacker definitely didn’t need to stick out his paw for long to get someone to pull over.

If there was ever a member of your camping crew that you trusted to carry a map then this guy is definitely it. His waterproof bag and sure-footedness make him look oh-so reliable. Who’s an adventurous boy?

This Squad Is Ready For Back To School

We all remember what it was like being in school with our friends. As much as possible we tried to coordinate outfits, lunch periods, and hairstyles. You were so close that you just wanted to match at all times. This adorable dog squad definitely went back to school shopping together like the besties they are.

They’re all so close that 3 of them even got similar warm tones of pink, orange, and red. This probably created some tension at recess because the green and the blue dog felt like they were being excluded from the theme.

Frog And Dog –– The World’s Cutest Combo

There’s an eternal battle between what’s cuter: a dog or a frog? We’ve all been confused about which one to pick. We love the little green bodies of frogs but dogs are just all-around more cuddly. Thanks to the innovative dog in a frog backpack, we don’t have to choose between the two any longer.

Look at how happy she is to be out and about with a backpack that’s just as cute as she is. Forget picking a bag to match whatever color your season is, pick a bag that expresses just how cute you are inside and out.

Some Packs Carry Snacks, Others Carry Science

Did you remember to pack your tracing device in your bag before heading out? Don’t worry if you didn’t, because this pigeon has your back. This carrier pigeon’s backpack is a tracking device strapped to help scientists collect climate data. Science has never been so adorable.

Hopefully, this pigeon sees some amazing sights while it’s out and about adventuring. Whatever climate it’s in, may this voyager be met with good wind and a lot of comfy trees so it can rest its weary wings.

To Grandma’s House We Go!

Maybe you’re a grandparent yourself or maybe you’re a grandchild, but either way, we’ve all at some point taken the journey to grandma’s house as a child and packed everything we need. It’s mostly toys and books, but we’ve always left room for the snacks she sends us home with.

This essential human truth is also the truth for this dog who was “off to grandma’s.” When dogs go to grandma’s they make sure to bring their favorite squeaker, chewie, and ball, but they always leave a section open for some dog biscuits she’ll give you. Just in case.

This Bag Bearly Fits On This Pug

When choosing her bag for her adventures, this pug’s eyes were a little bigger than her back. She chose a bag that was a little too big for her body because she liked it so much.

Honestly, we’ve all done the same thing since we’ve all bought shoes in the wrong size because it was the closest the store had and told ourselves we’d wear “thick socks.” This pug saw the bear and knew it was too big and fierce for her, but decided to grab it anyway because she can easily bark louder to match it.

This Adorable Copycat Is A Copy… Dog?

What’s better than one dog on this list with froggie backpacks? Two dogs of course. There was a sale on frog backpacks at the mall and this cute little thrifter grabbed one for himself.

You may be getting a sense of deja vu looking at this photo –– that’s because you just saw an equally cute doggie in a backpack. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and we totally agree with this statement. Everyone’s a winner in this imitation case since we now get two cuties with frog backpacks instead of one.

Make Sure You Check Behind You For Cyclists, Faster Hikers, And To Make Sure You’re Not Losing Dog Treats

We’ve all seen dogs hiking the trails. Usually, they’re on leashes and rarely they’re carrying their own hiking supplies. But this pup is different. When she heard that she was hiking today she put together food, water, and a trail mix of entirely milk bones for the trek.

This little lady is so responsible and we’re all inspired by her savvy packing skills. She’s definitely checking behind herself to make sure she’s not leaving a trail of milk bone crumbs on the path. She’s no Hansel and Gretel — this is a prepared pup with a map.

This DIY Backpack Is So Darn Adorable

Sit down and let us spin you a yarn about the little doggy who dreamed one day of owning his own backpack. He cursed his thumbless-paws that made holding his keys and wallet difficult and dreamed of a day he could leave the house and lock up. But one day he did something about it –– this is that dog.

This sweet boy dared to dream big and it certainly paid off. He crafted his own knitted DIY backpack that expresses just as much courageousness as he has. Big dreams come in small packages.

Friends Who Pack Together Stay Together

Domesticated dogs aren’t like their wolf ancestors any more so they don’t need to form packs with other wolves for survival. Instead, the only packs they’re forming are of the backpack variety and part of a bonding exercise between them and their bestie.

These two trekking tails are showing us exactly how this whole modern adventure thing is done with their matching backpacks. Sure, they’re not surviving like they used to when they were wolves by hunting, but this is close enough. Now they’re surviving by keeping the wets separate from the drys so all the food doesn’t get soggy.

This Husky Is Carrying The Entire Trip On His Back

The other adventurous backpacking dogs we’ve looked at have been very much about carrying their own stuff. None of their bags have been large enough to fit too many of our “human” needs. That all changed with this husky who decided to jump right into carrying most of the campsite.

Seriously, this trustworthy boy looks like he’s carrying the fate of the entire trip on his back. That huge stack of mats on his back shows he’s a contributor like the rest of us. He’ll definitely eye you if you’re not doing your share too.

These Boots Were Made For Backpack Coordination

You’ve heard of matching your shoes to your handbag, now get ready to match your dog’s little booties to its backpack. This stylish hound has taken all our fashion advice to heart and decided its hiking trip up a mountain was the perfect place to debut its new threads. We definitely approve.

This sweet doggo looks so calm and zen on top of this peak that we’re sure its booties and backpack are built for comfort. It’s all support and cushioning with these pieces and they couldn’t look cuter.

Even Cows Are Backpacking

Just like the pigeon, this backpacker is helping out us humans with its stylish accessory. This cow isn’t wearing an ordinary backpack though — it’s wearing a light air-filled tube to help scientists measure cow methane production. It’s definitely a bold choice for the bovine, but this guy looks cute nonetheless.

Cows should definitely be allowed to rock normal backpacks like their furry friends. They can keep their bottled milk, cheese, and yogurt in their for their calves to eat later. They might be confused by the cheese and yogurt, but they’d probably love it nonetheless.
