After the Lakers won the 2010 NBA title, Bryant spoke with the press as usual, but he brought along his daughters as well. Natalia and Gianna are often seen sitting courtside at games. It was nice of Bryant to bring them out in one his proudest moments.

Wayne Gretzky is arguably the greatest NHL player to live. There are some other names you could pin against him, but Gretzky’s name always comes up. And just his luck, he and his wife raised a son during his dominance.
This photograph is from a 1999 press conference, and it appears that Ty Gretzky is tired of hearing about his dad. You can’t tell by his face now, but we bet Ty appreciated this way more as he grew up.
A Bittersweet Farewell For Yao

When big man Yao Ming entered the NBA, fans thought he would be the perfect contender for the dominant Shaquille O’Neal. The fans thoughts were correct, and Ming provided the league with new energy.
Sadly, Ming couldn’t stay healthy. Tall athletes tend to have more of an issue with their feet, and that is what eventually took Ming out. At his retirement announcement in 2011, Ming brought his daughter Yao Qinlei with him. His career ended up significantly shortened, but at least he gained more time with his family.

Putting in countless hours towards a goal can be taxing. When you finally reap the benefits, it’s one of the most liberating feeling ever. In 2013, Jimmie Johnson won the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. To say he was happy would barely scratch the surface.
Upon winning, Johnson chose to celebrate with the family. Here you see him with his trophy, his wife, and his daughter. They each are sporting a cowboy hat and beautiful smiles.

Mike Tyson is one of the greats from his era. He wasn’t afraid of anything, and he let you know it. Knocking out dozens of opponents during his career, Tyson’s fight with Clifford Etienne had a lot of hype leading up to it.
Tyson brought his nine-month-old son Miguel with him during his pre-fight press conference. The kisses he’s giving his son are the same one’s Etienne needed after the fight.

Winning the World Series is a dream come true. In 2006, the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Detroit Tigers 4-1. Pujols performed like he’s supposed to and when it was time to celebrate, he did it in style.
HIs son is a huge part of his life so why not put him on his shoulders for the world to see? Albert Pujols Jr. should consider getting this moment framed and hang it in his bedroom. Up next, the daughter with the mind of her own.
Say, Hi Riley, You’re On TV!
When the two-time MVP Steph Curry won his first championship, it was a family affair. Not only were fans dazzled by his spectacular long-range shooting, but they soon fell in love with his eventful daughter.
Riley Curry stole the show during the NBA Finals in an unexpected way. She is full of life and even answered some questions for her old man. Just like it’s near impossible to stop Curry, he can barely contain his daughter.
A Disney Welcome

Playing for the Anaheim Angels might be one of the team with the best perks in baseball. In Southern California the weather is pleasant almost year-round, there are always activities for you to do, and don’t forget about Disneyland around the corner.
Josh Hamilton was introduced as a new member of the Angels at the ESPN Zone at Downtown Disney. Hamilton brought his daughter along for the conference, who was happy to be there, but she was probably most excited to see Mickey Mouse right after.

Lisa Leslie put the WNBA on her back when she was at her best. Before her, there weren’t many stars from the league that drew attention from basketball fans. Thankfully, the league started to get more marketable players to pick up where Leslie left off.
No matter if she was playing on the court or just out in public, Leslie is a standup citizen. She’s a positive role model for young girls everywhere and especially her daughter. Bringing her daughter Lauren to press conferences felt natural to Leslie.

Having to pack up your bags and go to a new city with a new team can be exciting and mysterious at the same time. Going into any new environment can stir up a lot of emotions, so it’s essential that teams make their new player feel as welcomed as possible.
For Shin-Soo Choo, he figured bringing his whole family to the press conference would help him adjust. When he was introduced to the Texas Rangers in 2013, both of his children and wife were in attendance for the special moment.
Rose’s Son Brings The Emotion
Derrick Rose used to be considered one of the best players in the league. Then he tore his ACL, and nothing was the same. Upon recovering from the injury, Rose showed flashes of his old self, but could never bring back that flash he once had. One year he had LeBron James and the Cavaliers on the brink of elimination in the playoffs.
Fans had counted this new Rose out, but he proved that he was still worthy of leading a team. After one of the games, he brought his son, P.J. Rose and he showed the emotion that Rose usually lacks.

In 2004, former New York Yankee Roger Clemens inked a one-year deal with the Houston Astros for $5 million. A pitcher of his stature deserved all of that, and his son knew what was to come.
As Roger holds up his son Kody, who then becomes the hype man for his father. He said that he couldn’t wait to see his dad pitch for the Astros. Going from New York to Houston isn’t a bad switch either.
The Warner Family

Kurt Warner should go down as a top 30 quarterback of all-time. He had his best years as a St. Louis Ram, but he still put up some good numbers as an Arizona Cardinal. In 2010, he decided that he could no longer give the NFL what they needed and announced his retirement.
For a show of support, Warner brought his family for the announcement, and they undoubtedly boosted his mood. Deep down he will miss the sport, but more family time is always a positive thing.
Wade Lands With The Heat

Dwayne Wade’s name is now synonymous with Miami. The 6’4″ guard from Marquette University got drafted in the first round by the Miami Heat and almost immediately brought the franchise back to prominence. Since the NBA is one of the hardest leagues to get drafted into, Wade knew this was a special moment.
Wade brought his son Zaire to the press conference in Miami with him. Wade got drafted in 2003, so his son is all grown up now and pursuing basketball just like his old man.

Bringing fresh faces and new talent to a team can excite the whole organization and the fans. The Washington Nationals brought in Adam Dunn back in 2009 to help with their defense. As usual, the press conference is full of questions, but it looked like Dunn’s son Brady wanted to be the center of attention.
Brady looks like he’s running the show. Everyone has their attention set on Brady while his dad stares with a face full of admiration.
Kidding With Kidd

Jason Kidd was a wizard with the ball. He made passes that others couldn’t even dream of attempting. His leadership skills were premium as he led his teams to the NBA Finals. He wasn’t successful on that stage until later in his career, but he didn’t fail to share the experience.
He led the Nets to consecutive Finals appearances but came up short both times. To lighten the mood, he brought his son Trey with him to the press conference. You can tell he’s trying to tell his dad that it’s all okay.

Baseball is known to have some of the most lucrative contracts in sports. Players secure a healthy check for an extended number of years and can provide for their families for decades to come. In 2012, Prince Fielder signed a nine-year contract with the Detroit Tigers.
To celebrate the amazing news, Fielder brought his son Jadyn along to the official press conference. One day, perhaps Prince’s prince will pick up where his dad left off.
Jon Lester’s Son Is Adorable

Nothing is better than an adorable little kid bringing all the smiles and laughs to a press conference. The mood can be awkward and tense, and kids are always good at breaking the ice.
Pitcher Jon Lester brought his son Hudson with him in 2014 as he got introduced to the Chicago Cubs. When you go through major life changes, it’s comforting to know the love of your child remains the same. That smile will always bring Lester back home no matter what city he plays in.
San Diego’s Best Bids Farewell With His Son

LaDainian Tomlinson brought the electricity to the San Diego Chargers. The Hall of Fame running back consistently performed at a high level and gave every NFL fan something to look forward to each week. He never won a championship to show for it, so it was a little harder to call it quits.
Luckily, Tomlinson had his son Daylen with him to help with his retirement announcement in 2012. The league may never see another running back with his unique skills, but Tomlinson is doing well, spending time with his family and working as a sports analyst.
