Shopper’s Fantasy
Before Lisa Satayut fell madly in love with her now-husband, Drew Ellis, her first love was shopping. Even more specifically, shopping at TJ Maxx. She loved TJ Maxx so much that when she envisioned her dream wedding, the only venue she could imagine was the department store. So in 2010, that’s just what happened in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Lisa and Drew were married in the size-8 shoe aisle, which the store made wider so the newlyweds could invite friends and family. They, of course, added an archway and even had white chairs with bows for the guests. A string section also played within the store. That’s definitely one way to get married in style!
