Dogs Who Were Caught In The Act With Hilarious Results

Dogs love to get into trouble but unfortunately for them, there isn't a very strong "poker face" game going on when they get caught. Whether it's messing with the cat, tearing apart your favorite pair of shoes, or just getting into general mischief, it's hard to stay mad at them when they look so darn cute when caught.

We combed the internet for some of the funniest "caught in the act" moments from dogs and they don't disappoint. Check out our favorites and try not to laugh.

The Look Of Pure Guilt

A dog's face can very easily give away their guilt. It doesn't help when they are standing directly in front of the mess they just created. But admit it, you stay mad for about 10 seconds and then you have to laugh at the situation standing before you.

This pupper knows what he did, but he's not about to admit it! That's the classic, "wasn't me!" look. Unfortunately, he's not selling it very well and clearly, "did it."

The dog in the background has no problem ratting out his buddy. There is just not a lot of hiding the emotions of dogs. Now comes the real question — who was actually guilty of this mess? At least one of these dogs at least looks more guilty.

This is usually what happens with brothers. The one in the back did nothing, but he did encourage his brother to make a mess. It's not his fault his brother listened!

Yet another example of a dog being caught in the act and allowing their startled emotions to shine through. They even have the evidence right in front of them so there is no hiding from what they have done.

The thing is, this doggo probably knew he was going to get in trouble, but tearing up the bag and everything inside was just too tempting! Now he just has to find a way to live with the consequences.

This dog looks like they genuinely didn't mean to get caught in the blinds. Regardless of their intent, they are now caught in the act and unable to deny what they have done. Furniture 1, dog zero.

The worst part about this is it looks like it happened in the middle of the night. The dog's owner probably thought someone was breaking into the house. Honestly, seeing it was just the dog was probably a relief!

Even if this dog wasn't caught in the act, there was no way all of those down feathers were going to magically disappear from their fur, the couch, and presumably the entire living room. At the same time, this pup doesn't seem too upset about being caught.

They either destroyed a pillow or finally caught that pesky bird who snuck its way into the house. There is also no guilt here, just happiness. Go ahead and yell, this dog just doesn't care.

How can you not laugh when you see a dog riding another dog. It doesn't hurt that this adorable puppy somehow managed to turn his dog friend into a horse. At least the bigger dog doesn't seem to mind these antics.

Another example of a dog's inability to hide properly. In their defense, if this dog was a darker shade of brown they might have just blended in with the hardwood floor. Also, toilet paper is fun. True fact.

Sometimes just accepting fate is the only thing a dog can do. He destroyed the toilet paper, now he's gone full guilt mode. If he could sink into the floor he literally would. He just feels that bad.

It looks like this dog managed to break open a giant sack of coffee beans. If that's the case their owner was probably in for a very long night of hyper-puppy time.

What's worse, is now that pupper is caffeinated up, there's nothing left to keep its owner awake. It's going to be a long sleepless night. By the morning this pup will be fast asleep and its owner will be struggling to function at work.
