Ikea Has Renamed Products Based On Popular Google Searches

Ikea has launched a creative advertising campaign just in time for the holidays. The company has taken some of the most searched terms about relationships, parenting, and other topics, from Google and named its products after those searches.

The Swedish furniture retailer didn’t just target men (although there was plenty of fodder in this category), they also named some products after commonly searched problems — mostly fears about our failing romantic relationships and complaints about the process of raising teenagers.
