Some people are masters at the whole "making a house a home" thing, and the people in this slideshow have really taken that to the next level with their cozy homes. These spaces are so inviting that you'll want to start redecorating immediately. If the home with the cozy reading nook doesn't make you want to move in, we don't know what will.
Lights Out
There's just something about attic ceilings that can help make for the coziest rooms, as long as they're decorated right. Between the soft lighting and rug, the person who decorated this room totally nailed the cozy thing. Now, all we want to do is curl up and take a long nap.
Winter Wonderland
If you can picture yourself cozying up alongside this window with a mug of hot cocoa, then you're not the only one. The scenery here is amazing, but with or without it, this little nook still has a very cozy feel that we'd love to get in our homes.
The Sounds Of Nature
The person who took this photo noted that there is a waterfall nearby that runs under the home. This photo is taken from a room overlooking the stream underneath, and it must be nice to curl up in that chair and listen to the water. In a slide coming up, check out a living room that's ready for the holidays.
Take A Load Off
This is the type of porch new homeowners dream about. Between the soft lighting and comfy couch, the owners of this home have created an inviting space that will be a retreat after a hard day's work. We bet the views during the winter make it even better.
Relax Under The Stars
Nothing screams cozy quite like a small space, comfy bed, and a beautiful view of the stars without ever having to get up and go outside. We're pretty sure that if we had that bed with that view that we'd never want to leave. It's a little tight, but it looks like it fits just right.
Home For The Holidays
A lot of people hate the holidays because of how busy and stressful they are, but we bet those feelings would melt away if they had a cozy living room like this. Every good Christmas episode needs a quality fireplace, and this house has that figured out. In a slide coming up, take a look at one bedroom that has an amazing view of the sun setting.
Going Green
It would never have occurred to us to turn an orangery -- a greenhouse for oranges -- into a cozy space to relax, but that's exactly what this owner did. She strategically placed the trees, plants, couches, and lighting to create a place people can relax in and let the stress melt away.
Where's Stuart Little?
The owners of this home decided to add a little mouse hole because...well, why not? Regardless of how small this is, we'd redecorate our place to look as cozy as that mouse hole in a minute. We also love the creator's sense of humor in putting up a picture of a cat.
Starry Night
The person who thought of adding a window to the roof where they can relax and watch the sunset is a genius. It might mean an earlier bedtime depending on the time of year, but we'll still take it. Keep reading to see one person who turned the space under their stairs into a cozy reading nook.
Where's Our Invitation?
This apartment might be small, but the owners did an amazing job of decorating the common spaces to make them look as inviting as possible. While we patiently wait for our invitations to come over, we'll focus on trying to pull off this look in our own homes.
Nice Spot For A Daybed
What is it about string lights that give a space a super cozy vibe? The people who decorated this porch really pulled off that vibe with the lights and by adding the daybed. It would never have occurred to us to add a daybed to a porch, but it works out really well here.
It's Time To Remodel NOW
If you're a book lover, then you'll want to drop everything and start remodeling your house if you have stairs. We're not sure what the door is for, but we do know that this reading nook takes cozy to a whole new level. In a slide coming up, check out a space that is perfect for getting a little R&R.
Cabin In The Woods
Everything about this cabin has reached maximum cozy level. The natural colors, wood, and rugs make this the place to chill out. The ladder that leads to a loft with a bed is something everyone should have in their home if at all possible.
Just Take My Money
For another cozy cabin, there's this cabin that appears to be built in the side of a mountain. Not only does it have an amazing view that will make you want to stay in bed all day, it even has a log burning fireplace. Shut up and take our money, already!
The Ultimate R&R
If you looked up "cozy" in the dictionary, this bathroom would be beside it. A beautiful view, magazine-worthy design, and comfy tub to kick back in make us want to start the remodel today. In a slide coming up, check out another person whose bathroom has it really going on.
The Best Bunk Beds Ever
These bunk beds are everything. Not only is each bunk bed a separate cozy space to sleep or chill out, but the design helps it save so much space. We usually prefer king-size beds, but we're pretty sure that we could forfeit some space for this.
Stay In Bed All Day
No, really, now you can stay in bed all day thanks to this Japanese kotatsu table. This cozy space is a table frame that is surrounded by a couch or sectional that has a heat source underneath. Now the only thing you have to get up for is to grab food and use the bathroom.
The Dream Bathroom
This bathroom definitely has the cozy vibe going on. The sunken bathtub really ups that factor, plus the log wall and view really make it inviting. As long as you aren't accident-prone and don't fall in, it really has a lot of potential for giving you a place to relax.
An Inviting Living Room
The owner of this home did a great job of turning an industrial space into a cozy living room. The plants -- especially the one cascading over the shelving unit -- really add to that feel. The chessboard is a nice touch, since it would really make a person want to sit down and stay a while.
A Room With A View
For the last image in our slideshow of cozy spaces, there is this reading nook with a view. We especially love how it is large enough to fully lie down and can even accommodate more than one person at a time. We'd curl up with a book there in an instant.
