London makeup artist Laura Jenkinson has earned a very large social media following because of her amazing “lip art” and one look at her work explains why she has become popular. Laura uses theatrical makeup and an occasional addition of lipstick to create her playful portraits.
From Roger Rabbit and the Lion King to Ralph Wiggum and Simba from The Lion King, her work resonates with children and adults of all ages.
“I’d seen loads of other fantastic make-up artists on Instagram and I wanted to do something similar and on a bigger scale so I started doing about one a week,” Jenkinson told one online publication. “I find a picture and then just hold it up to the mirror as a guide and draw straight onto my face – it’s easier than you think!”
