Proof That You’ll Never Finish A Puzzle With A Cat Around

Let's face it, puzzles are not for the faint of heart, and neither is owning a cat. So, when you put the two together, you can only imagine what can happen. While puzzles take concentration, organization, and patience, cats are distracting, destructive, and demand your intention, and should not be mixed. Here are some examples of what happens when you do.

It seems as though the owners of this cat have had a problem with the cats and puzzles before, so they tried to take preventative measures this time.

However, it appears that they forgot that cats are basically ninjas and that a thin plastic sheet isn't going to do anything to stop them from getting what they want. It's possible that the cat might have even left the puzzles alone if they didn't put the plastic on, but now it was curious.

The owners of this cat were probably anxious to get back to work on their puzzle, only to come upon their cat taking a nap inside of the box and on top of all the pieces.

Of course, we're sure the cat didn't just slide in there without making a disturbance and probably destroyed half of the work they already did. Do you risk waking the cat up and them flinging pieces everywhere or just find something else to do?

Puzzles must be a cat's worst enemy because it takes their owner's attention off of them, even if it's just for a few minutes. This cat has had enough and decided she would place herself in a position where she couldn't be ignored.

It looks like her plan worked because they stopped working on the puzzle and decided to have a photoshoot of their cat instead. Clearly, they are cat lovers because even the puzzle is of cats!

Apparently, this owner was smart and made sure to build his puzzle in his office, away from the reaches of the cat. However, after he left his office door open one minute to grab something, the cat managed to get in and destroy all of his hard work.

You know when he heard the crash from the other room, he knew immediately what had happened. Do you try to salvage it or just call it quits?

Just by looking at this puzzle, we know that this had to have been a nightmare to put together. With nothing to go off but the shape and color of each individual piece, whoever made this must have slaved away for hours as their cats watched them hold back their tears of frustration.

Finally, once it was completed, the cat knew it was time to strike. We desperately hope they got a picture of the finished product.

With only the top portion of the puzzle left, it looks like this cat has no intention of letting its owners finish it anytime soon.

They're in quite a predicament here because if they try to get the cat off, it might ruin what they've already done, and there's also a possibility it won't move anytime in the near future. Their best bet might just be to keep watch on it until the cat gets hungry.

Even though this cat knows exactly what it's doing, it's playing the part that it doesn't know quite well. While the owner is seconds away from ripping out her own hair, this cat couldn't have a care in the world.

It looks like this poor woman isn't going to be able to finish her puzzle in the near future. She might have to wait until it's her cat's nap time unless she falls asleep where she is.

It's clear that this cat is totally over its owner working on puzzles. We're sure that she's been meowing like crazy since they first started, so now she has to take more drastic measures and get directly in their face.

Yet, even though this cat is angry, she's still super cute and we might forgive her for interrupting us in the middle of our puzzle. However, they better be careful because she looks like she is about to pounce.

This cat looks more like a dragon guarding her gold than a cat laying on a pile of puzzle pieces. We're willing to bet that this cat knows exactly what happens when her owners break out the puzzles.

It means that they spend hours sitting in the same spot and not giving her the attention they deserve. So, she decided to make it difficult for them this time. Maybe now they'll learn their lesson.

What's Going On Here

There are only one of two things that could be going on in this picture. One is that the cat is actually helping to put the puzzle together, which would be incredible. Or, this picture was taken seconds before the cat dragged the entire thing off of the table.

We're going to guess that the latter is what's happening. However, this picture was taken at such a perfect time that it does look like the cat is helping.

Although we doubt that this cat actually did anything to help on this puzzle, she looks like someone that's been working on a puzzle for hours and just got the border done.

Puzzles are no joke and can really make or break your day depending on what happens. Maybe that's what the owner was looking like when this picture was taken, so the cat decided to do the same thing as a sign of solidarity with her owner.

It seems like this cat couldn't fathom the idea of having to be on the carpet, so they were resourceful and used their owner's puzzle as a barrier.

Of course, this is no big deal to them, but to their owner that was almost done with their puzzle, this is a disaster. What's even worse than the cat knocking it off the table is that he's sitting on it almost like a sign of further disrespect.

When solving a puzzle, it can be a little bit too easy to lose track of time, which is probably why so many cats make it their life's mission to destroy them.

We wouldn't be surprised if this cat's owner forgot that dinner time was over an hour ago, so the cat had to give them a reminder. Clearly, this cat is not pleased at the moment, and the look on its face says, "get the food, or I'll knock it over."

Looking at this cat, it might be safe to assume that they've never seen a puzzle before. If that's the case, they're in for quite the treat, even if they don't know it yet. There are so many different pieces and colors that the cat seems slightly overwhelmed by it all.

It's either that, or he's meticulously planning how he's going to go about ruining it. We'd keep an eye on this cat if he was ours.

By the look in this cat's eyes, he knew exactly what he was doing when he destroyed his owner's masterpiece. The cat could have done this for a number of reasons, but we suspect that it has something to do with the owner feeding him three minutes late the night prior.

The lesson here is that if you're going to do a puzzle with a cat around, you need to make sure you keep your feline happy at all times.

While a lot of cats are private creatures, that's certainly not the case for this one. She likes to take care of her business right in front of where everyone can see. If that means doing it on top of the puzzle that everyone is gathered around and working on, so be it.

The owners are lucky this is all she's doing, instead of trying to attack all of the fish featured on the puzzle.

We're going to guess that whoever was working on this puzzle didn't put all of those pieces on the ground because it would make everything that much more difficult.

So, it's probably safe to assume that this is the work of the cat who wanted to try out a new kind of bed that they seem to be enjoying. Now, the cat looks annoyed that they've been woken from their nap, even though they know exactly what they did.

Even though this cat is in the process of destroying this puzzle, at least the owner had the common sense to take some professional-looking pictures of their cat in the act. This doesn't look like a quickly taken picture before the cat could run away, and it's almost like the cat posed to soak up the moment.

Unfortunately, this cat probably didn't move until it felt that its owner captured the moment up to the cat's standards.

Did this cat need to ruin this puzzle to sit on the chair? No. Did it do it anyway? Yes. Now, if the cat was lying on the table, it might be easier to understand exactly what happened here, but because it isn't, we can only assume that it was done out of spite or simply because it was bored.

Now, it's just sitting there as nothing happened, patiently waiting for the next meal it knows it's going to get.

Just by looking at this cat, it's obvious that the owner must have done something seriously wrong to upset it. If the cat was trying to send a message, they succeeded, and we'd be afraid to go to sleep that night if we were the owners.

If the cat is willing to destroy a puzzle out of revenge, there's no telling what else it may be capable of. All they can do now is apologize to the cat and hope for the best.
