Your Milk Mustache Has Nothing On These Messy Eater Cats

Pets can bring a ton of joy and love to your life… as well as a whole lot of messes. One of the biggest ways animals dirty themselves without even leaving the house is by eating. These cats got so filthy after diving into their meals that their humans just had to take a picture to document the hilarious sight. From sauce beards to food-covered paws, these messy cats will put your milk mustache to shame.

It’s My Birthday And I’ll Faceplant If I Want To

There are two types of people in this world: people who throw their pets birthday parties and people who don’t. This pet owner clearly falls into the first category, so of course they bought their cat a cake.

And, of course, they let their cat eat said cake with the carelessness of a toddler who just discovered sugar. As though the owner foresaw the mess that would ensue, they dressed the feline in a flashy hat to match its frosting mustache.

Food Wears Me Out

This kitten looks like it could be doing one of two things. One possibility is that the feline is so grateful for this food that it had to give the bowl a big hug. Another option is that eating tired out the kitty so much that it collapsed into the dish.

Whatever happened, it certainly made for a hilarious photo. This must be a regular occurrence because the owner knew to set a large towel on the counter, which is covered in dinner debris.

I Clean The Bowl With My Entire Face

When you think of an animal loving their meal so much that they clean the dish, you probably assume that they’d do that with their tongue. In this cat, it looks like the kitten wiped its plate clean using its entire face as a sponge.

Though the pad at the bottom of the kitten’s cage is made for bathroom accidents, it seems to be serving a dual purpose as a table cloth for this little messy eater.

Double Dish Messy

This sweet little messy kitty looks like it’s exhausted from all the eating it just did. After all, there are two empty dishes right there! That’s a lot of work! The person who shared this photo to social media wrote, “Simeon, our kitty- What a messy eater!”

We can’t help but wonder if Simeon will grow out of this messy phase or if this will be a lifelong hobby for her.

I Didn’t Do It!

This kitten looks like it just stole Santa’s milk and cookies in the middle of the night and got caught red-handed. The alert look on its face is priceless, especially with milk dripping down its face and covering its paws.

Once again, this kitten doesn’t seem to know the difference between bending down to take a drink and climbing paw-first into a bowl of liquid. It’s a good thing the floors are smooth and easy to mop.

Don’t Take A Picture Of My Face, It’s Messy!

While the other cats we’ve seen either seem blissfully shameless or worried about what they ate, this kitten looks like its top concern is how messy its face looks. Something about the position of its paws and the way it’s looking down makes us sense that it’s camera shy.

Perhaps it knows that its owner is trying to document its food-covered face and wants to at least do a quick face-dip in the water bowl before the photoshoot.

That Was Mouth-Licking Good

As opposed to the cats that had a shameful look on their faces, this one seems perfectly proud to be wearing pasta sauce all over its fur. It’s even licking the corner of its mouth in satisfaction.

With how wide this cat’s eyes are, we have to wonder if the person behind the camera is holding a second serving as a bribe for posing for a photo. After all, what pet looks that happy after their food is all gone?

This Kitten Is A Total Mood

This cute little gray kitten was given wet food for the first time ever, and it looks like he needs some more practice before he gets it right. It seems that he was so excited to eat the tasty stuff that he just dunked his whole face in it.

Now he’s all soggy and sticky and can’t understand why everyone’s laughing and taking pictures instead of cleaning him up! Don’t worry kitty, you’ll get the hang of this.

They’ll Never Find Me Here

This kitten looks absolutely priceless with its orange-dusted nose and paws. It looks like a kid who just ate a bag of Cheetohs and is now hiding under the bed so their parents don’t find out.

The little feline even has that hyperaware look on its face as though it’s listening for someone to come into the room. Of course, in reality, the owner is right in front of them and taking a photo, but it’s fun to imagine.

There’s something regal about the way this little kitten is posed. Perhaps it’s the head turned slightly to one side, or the itty bitty paw that’s perched up as though it were getting a miniature manicure.

Though the messy face doesn’t quite match with the princess attitude, that makes it all the more hilarious. It’s as though the cat is perfectly alright with looking filthy because, at the end of the day, they are still the ruler of everything.

Like My Goatee?

This little kitten has no idea how hilarious its face looks to humans right now. After dipping its face into a bowl of milk, the young cat came up looking like it has a goatee!

The best part is the two long strands hanging down on either side of the kitty’s mouth. We wish the owner could twirl those whiskers to make it look like the kitten is either a villain or a devilish pizzamaker.

What Are You Lookin’ At?

This kitten is a crackup not only because of how far it’s reaching into the carton of food, but because of its eyes peering out the top. It’s as though the cat is equal parts focused on eating and on who is looking at them eating.

We could imagine that the kitty is thinking to themselves “What are you looking at?” or “Do you really need to take a picture of this?” Being stared at is a small price to pay for endless amounts of free food.

Did I Do Something Wrong?

If you’ve ever seen the Shrek movies, you may recall a character by the name of Puss In Boots. The cartoon cat would give this heartbreaking look with its big, shiny eyes, and all the other characters couldn’t help but fall for it every time.

We feel like that’s what this cat is doing. Its mouth may be covered in milk, but its eyes are saying, “Did I do something wrong?” and all you want to do is scream, “Of course not, you precious little angel!”

I Wasn’t Done Eating That

This owner probably took a few blurry pictures before finally grabbing their kitten’s face with their index finger and thumb to get an up-close look at the messy eater. The cat doesn’t seem too fond of this impromptu closeup.

It’s like the cat is thinking, “Can you let go now so I can get back to eating?” Not even kittens are as helpless as they look, though. If this feline really wanted to, she could claw her way out of that grip no problem.

The look of surprise on this cat’s face leads us to believe that someone just told them they should go take a look in the mirror. Perhaps their owner pulling out the cellphone to take a picture was the giveaway.

Best of all, the kitten isn’t even close to finishing their meal. Whatever captivated this cat’s attention, it was enough to cause it to pause from burying its face into a dish full of food.

Oh Man, I Totally Cheated On My Diet

This cat’s expression may be subtle, but to a human it’s downright hilarious. Something about the slight frown and downturned eyes makes it seem like this cat is feeling guilty about whatever just stained their face and paws.

It’s like their owner is a friend that just pulled them out of a crazy food binge. Now the cat is realizing what they’ve done and thinking, “Oh my gosh, I totally just blew my diet. Again.”

Yes, Watch Me Feast On A Bowl Twice My Size

It might be the sauce mustache talking, but does this cat look strangely satisfied with the fact it’s being watched? It’s like the feline enjoys having an audience while it plummets facefirst into a giant bowl of food.

Perhaps the kitten wants to show off how large its meals are compared to the size of its tiny body. Honestly, that little cat looks like it could take a bath in its own food. Just imagine eating a meal out of your bathtub!

I’m Going Into A Food Coma

Alright, this little kitty is down for the count. We’ve all seen that glazed-over look in the eyes when someone’s lids are so heavy they barely have the willpower to hold them open any longer.

At first glance, it may look like this cat just got a bath and is ready to hit the hay. But if you look to the right, you can still see little bits of food from the meal that put this kitty into a food coma.

Pause The Feeding, I’m Having A Brilliant Thought

It’s not every day that you see a pet stop midmeal and stare off into the distance like they’re daydreaming. It’s one thing if something gets their attention, but then you see a look of alertness in their eyes.

In this case, the kitten looks the exact opposite of alert. It doesn’t even seem to be in the room with us. This feline is lost in its own mind, mouth agape as it unravels the secrets of the universe.

I Was Just Trying To Moisturize

This little kitten looks like it was trying to have a spa day by submerging itself in creamy mustard. It’s one thing for a pet to dip its face into food, and quite another thing for them to walk their front paws right into it.

Our question isn’t what the cat was thinking climbing into a bowl of mustard, but what the owner was thinking pouring a bowl of mustard and then leaving it sitting out?
