100 children who need beds sleep at Cowboys Stadium, take beds home with them

Dallas Cowboys beds for kids who need them

The Dallas Cowboys football stadium welcomed 100 underprivileged children for a sleepover on Friday night and it was an event sure to change their lives for the better.

The sleepover party included 100 beds that were each fitted with a ton of Cowboys swag, including pillowed, sheets, comforters, and even some toys.

Children invited to the special event were given pizza to eat and they hunt out with NFL players and cheerleaders while watching a movie on the giant screen.

Before bedtime, the children were told they were being given the beds to take home and sleep in courtesy of Ashley Furniture and its Hope to Dream program.

Mary Ann Downey Kirby experienced the fun in Arlington, Texas and posted several photos on Facebook, saying Ashley Furniture would be delivering the beds to each child’s home.

Hope To Dream allows people to nominate families in need of beds for the program’s consideration if there is a participating store in the area.

Sometimes the simplest gestures can mean the most to people who are truly in need.
