Having pets brings endless joy, especially through the adorable things they do.
Whether it's a cat chasing its tail, a dog tilting its head in confusion, or a bunny doing a happy hop, their sweet and silly behaviors fill our hearts with laughter, comfort, and unconditional love every single day.
“Too big”
Considering how the average dog or cat bed isn't exactly large, this is probably in the running for one of the tiniest kittens we've ever seen.
Indeed, it would have to be a kitten because what full-grown cat looks like this? It's no wonder that it looks so vulnerable, the poor little sweetheart.
“The house was way too quiet for a little while yesterday while the foster kittens were out having playtime and my boyfriend was supposed to be watching them. I walked into the living room and found everyone like this:”
Well, he may not strictly be watching them but it's hard to argue with the fact that he couldn't be closer to all of them if he tried.
What's also so adorable is the fact that they seem to be rewarding his comfort and trust in them because it's hard to imagine four animals in the same house being anywhere near this well-behaved.

This street cat is as adorable as it gets but there's such a sad undercurrent to its small size. It clearly appreciated this affection mightily, which makes it hard not to wonder how often it receives any.
Photos like this make it hard not to wonder why every city isn't like Istanbul when it comes to street cats.
“It feels like home”
This image's uploader says this is what they do anytime they go to someone's house when that person has a pet. Indeed, a hug like this feels homier than anything else about a house.
Naturally, not every pet likes this and they're great at making that clear. Still, those who do will be practically impossible to let go of.
“Undercover agent”
This photo would be adorable even if it was just showing the two dogs but the little, eager little cat in the lovely husky disguise makes it absolutely perfect.
I'd like to think that the dogs figured out the secret agent cat's identity a long time ago. They just don't care and they think the hat's too adorable to take off.

When a new little one — human or otherwise — is brought into a home, there's always at least a little bit of anxiety about how the ones who already live there will react to their presence.
Off course, this photo makes it abundantly clear that this isn't a worry anyone needs to have. When the toddler wants to sleep in the new puppy's crate with them, it's the biggest and most wholesome sign there is.

Whether they're human or not, some of the best friend duos are like this and they balance each other out so well. The grumpy one lets the endlessly positive one know when they're being scammed, while the positive one helps the grumpy one make new friends.
Of course, it's even more endearing when the little happy head in this photo is the smaller one, especially when it's so tiny.

The painting is very lovely and it's a pretty accurate likeness of the cat. Better yet, it seems that the cat appreciates it, too. How do I know?
Well, there's a pretty simple test to determine this. If the cat was willing to sit there while the artist painted any part of this, it was clearly deeply invested in the process. Cats don't spare anyone's feelings when they lose interest.

Even if we didn't have that absolutely adorable caption, this would still be such a preciously cute pair of photos. But the context makes it so much better.
The fact she comes to do this every day is definitely the sweetest part of this adorable picture. I bet he hands his head through the door especially for her too.

There is not an ounce of regret in that cat's face. If it has dairy, nobody will have any hope of a cat caring who it actually belongs to.
Based on the fact that it's licking the runoff off its face, the only problem this cat can see was that there wasn't more of it. What a mischievous little gremlin.

It's unclear what exactly these kittens did but this picture definitely makes me wonder how parents do it, especially if that parent is a cat.
Seeing two little kittens guiltily staring up at me with those big, sad eyes would make me too disheartened to actually finish ranting about whatever made me mad in the first place. Maybe it doesn't have the same effect when you're also a cat.

It's a good thing the uploader provided context here because it would normally be so hard to tell what's even going on in this photo.
For those who can't see it, a little cat of the same color is perched on this larger cat's back. It's hard to think of a more adorable way to hide in plain sight than this
“Dreaming of Snacks and Belly Rubs”
Cats will find the most random places to nap but between a window's Venetian blinds is probably one of the stranger ones.
This also speaks to what a small cat this is, as the bigger ones would probably break that little strip by now. I suppose that not every comfortable position looks that way.
“Raccoon & dog are best of friends”
It's understandably hard for a dog owner not to see a raccoon as an inherent rabies risk and it's almost always good practice to treat them that way.
At the same time, nobody ever knows where life will take them and neither the raccoon nor the dog likely would have expected to be such affectionate friends for each other. The results are impossibly adorable, though.

Cats typically dread baths more than even dogs, which means it usually takes a team to give them one when it's needed. Unfortunately, this is one of those cases where it's very much needed.
Yet while it may be a major hassle to give the cat the bath, it's almost worth it to see how adorably silly and grumpy they look when it's all over.

Apparently, this image's uploader woke their dog up, which led it to walk around the house with this blanket wrapped around itself ever since.
There are so many college students who have shown the exact same behavior after their roommate woke up them up. There's probably at least one doing it right now.

The sad reality is that it's not so often that we even get a chance to see a 30-year-old cat but that's how long this beautiful lady has managed to hang in there.
Age has given her fur such a lovely array of fall colors and she still seems spry, all things considered. She might still tell us to get off her lawn, though.

Every puppy has a way of giving a look that not only makes someone fall in love with it, but pledge to protect it with their very lives.
This dopey little fellow looks so earnest and loving even though this is probably just its neutral expression. Yet, I don't expect anyone to care in the slightest.

Considering how cute the adult beavers we encounter (from a safe distance) are, I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise that a baby one would make our hearts melt like butter.
Even so, there's a huge difference between knowing that in the abstract and looking into the furry little guy's beady eyes.

Although giant pandas are definitely first in many people's hearts for a reason, there's definitely a value in understanding how happily sweet red pandas can be.
Look at this face! Even a red panda in a cartoon would have a hard time being more cute and expressive than this little guy right here.

This would be the roughest experience if even a baby rhino sat on one of our heads but it's clear that it's only mildly annoying at worst to the little one's mother.
While it's often hard to judge a rhino's expression, it's still very clear how great of a time that child is having. That's one loving mama.

One thing that can often happen to cat owners is that they'll catch their precious little ones in the most beautifully photogenic and distinguished positions. Naturally, they'll immediately snap a picture and show they world that side of them, too.
With that in mind, it's hard to believe that this cat didn't try to eat a rainbow or get a cereal box stuck on its head minutes after this picture was taken. That's always how it works.

It's not unusual for animals to exhibit human-like behavior, and humans are great at noticing it every time. Sometimes, however, it's downright uncanny.
For instance, it's hard to know whether seals usually relax in the exact same way that humans do, but this one is doing that beyond the shadow of a doubt.
