Poor Graycie was terrified when she was brought into Granite Hills Animal Care. The little pup was so scared and weak that she was steps away from being put down because of the pain she was in – she was emaciated, dehydrated, hypothermic and suffered from a painful prolapse.

Her brave vet Dr. Andy Mathis refused to give up on her despite the fact that she would not eat. He climbed into her cage to keep her company and coaxed her to eat breakfast. Those love-filled breakfasts have helped Graycie come out of her shell and she’s making a lot of progress. She’s gained weight and is living proof that a little love goes a long way.
