Desert X, an outdoor exhibition of art installations, has been taken to the next level thanks to Jennifer Bolande. She’s the artist who thought up the idea of installing a series of billboards that are camouflaged among the surrounding desert landscape.

Every billboard image has been perfectly aligned to match the background that had been obscured by the large advertisements.

“Each photograph is unique to its position along this route and at a certain point as one approaches each billboard, perfect alignment with the horizon will occur thus reconnecting the space that the rectangle of the billboard has interrupted,” Desert X shared on their website.
