Skyes Spirit Wildlife Rehabilitation Center

When it comes to larger woodland creatures like bobcats and bald eagles, Skye’s Spirit has their back. The center is run by Native American staff who share not only their love for animals, but also their rich heritage.
Though the company focuses on wildlife rehabilitation, they have a huge educational outreach program and one of their adorable bobcats has recently been added to the team. The bobcat was held as a pet, then abandoned when he fell ill. He was found emaciated and dehydrated with an impacted stomach. After being rushed to surgery, he’s since made a full recovery but is too friendly to release into the wild. Instead, Skye uses the adorable furball in their educational programs.
