She took in 4 kids after her neighbor’s death and something amazing happened

Audrey, a mother of three beautiful children, was asked by her neighbor Tisha, a mother of four, if she would watch her children during an overnight hospital stay. Tisha was going in for testing and the news she would receive would change her children’s lives forever.

After returning home the next day, Tisha revealed that she was diagnosed with a cancer diagnosis that had progressed to stage two in her throat and stomach.

Audrey thought she would have at least a year to live and get her children’s lives in order, however, within one month her health quickly deteriorated.

Close to the time of her death, she asked Trish a big and life changing question, “Will you become the legal guardian of my children?” It didn’t even take Trish a second to agree.

A family of 6 quickly became a family of 10.

Trish grew up in an orphanage and wanted to make sure that the children were raised by a loving nuclear family. “I never want another child to experience what I had to go through,” she said.

Hearing about her story, the Fox5 Surprise squad and decided to do something wonderful for her.

Hosts from the show arrived at her house and said they were going to do some quick minor repairs for the family over a three day period.

Trish began to tear up and agreed to leave the house for a few days so the work could be completed.

The hosts didn’t tell the family that the work they were about to embark on included a massive overhaul of the family’s home.
