The Tear-Drying President
In 2013, at the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House, kids gather from all over to get a chance to celebrate Easter with the current President. The “Easter Egg Roll” refers to a contest where the kids literally roll eggs across the White House lawn. This year, one little boy didn’t take it to great when he lost and burst into tears. Our caring President scooped him up in a hug, which is probably better than winning whatever the prize might have been. Just another moment showing President Obama in his down-to-earth state and not afraid to interact with the people.
