When Joseph Hawkey and Tiffany Bankert split up in 2009, they needed to maintain a relationship for the sake of their daughter Maddie. Even though they each re-married, they had secret plans to let Maddie know that everyone was still there for her. So, when Maddie was seven, she got the surprise of her life when her dad and stepmom took her to Disneyworld. However, that wasn’t the only surprise, because when she got there she was greeted by her mother and her stepfather. The blended family shared a great day together and showed Maddie that she didn’t have to choose sides whatsoever.
