Bunny Island Is Full Of Rabbits That Just Want To Be Loved

There’s an island in Japan that used to house a poison factory, but now it is known as Bunny Island, and it’s full of super cuddly rabbits.

The island’s residents were recently revealed by a new YouTube channel called “My BB Bunny’s Bunny.”

The Japanese island of Ōkunoshima—or Usagi Jima (“Rabbit Island”), was used to produce poisonous gas during World War II, but eventually the factory was closed, and now only a poison gas museum is all that remains from that era.

So what happens when you go to Bunny Island? You get smothered by fuzzy bunny hugs of course.

Unlike bunnies in our own backyards, these little creatures are human friendly, especially during feeding time. Just beware, they can nibble pretty hard.

If the bunnies are not fed on time, they are known to follow people around, begging for food. It’s almost as if they have become house pets.

Bunny Island is open to visitors, but first you will have to travel all the way to Japan.

I know what you are thinking “BUT I’M AT CAT PERSON!!!” In that case visit Japan’s cat island.

The Japanese really have thought of everything. Also you really need to own a lot of islands when you start populating them with cats and bunnies.
