The Sweetest Little Nudges

Pet psychologists believe that when cats nuzzle their owners, it’s a sign they are marking them. It’s the cat’s way of saying ‘you’re mine’ and in this case, the ‘mine’ aspect is their bigger, but younger, family member. Sweet little moments like this remind us that even fickle cats have a way to keep their kid family members feeling safe and loved. Our pets offer us comfort, bring us joy, and remind us even at a very young age that there is more in this world to care for than just ourselves. Does your family pet interact with your family members in this way?
I Have To Pug-tect My Baby Sibling

We’re not sure if this adorable dog was attempting to find a comfortable place to nap or protecting their small little friend from danger. Many animals will form a relationship with a baby before they are even born, nuzzling close to mom’s stomach during a pregnancy and growing even closer to the child upon their birth. It’s amazing to watch how dogs will literally welcome a human baby into their pack. This is a relationship that will only continue to grow over time as the child becomes a toddler and then continues to maintain their relationship with the family dog.
