Yes, it’s early November and we’re already seeing Christmas commercials. Ugh!
Usually we despise seeing these commercial so soon while we are still getting out of our candy coma from Halloween and planning our turkey coma for Thanksgiving. We don’t have time to already be thinking about Christmas!
But of the few Christmas commercials that have already started to come out, this most recent one by Temptations cat treats is certainly a contender for best Christmas related commercial of the year.
We are taken through a series of what can only be described as disgruntled house cats wearing different Christmas outfits. From elves and Santa to a Snowman, and a present snuggled under the Christmas tree. It’s hard not to love these miserable cats.
It’s an understatement to say the felines do not look happy as they try and squirm, scratch and run away from the humiliating outfits their owners put them in. All in order to snap that precious photo for their annual Christmas card.
Towards the end of the commercial it proclaims, “Help them forgive and forget.”
Underneath a bag of Temptations cat treats it reads “Say sorry for the holidays. #SaySorry.”
This commercial is not only an adorable way to pull at our heart strings, but more importantly a PSA for all you cat owners who may need to say sorry this holiday season.
