These war veterans bond with wolves to help their PTSD

Wolves help wounded soldiers

PTSD is one of the most common injuries faced by war veterans.

Unfortunately, many veterans do not get treatment for what they’ve endured and it can lead to debilitating effects.

The Lockwood Animal Rescue Center (LARC) is on a mission to change the future for PTSD sufferers.

They offer an alternative treatment for PTSD that gets these veterans back to a natural state by allowing them to find themselves again.

LARC pairs disabled veterans with wolves rescued from the wild and illegal breeding programs around the country.

After a wolf bonds with a wounded warrior they remain inseparable until the former serviceman is ready to go home.

Wolves are rescued and deserving soldiers get their lives back on track. This is the exact type of program we like to support at Give It Love.
